This team is the result of a large group of friends; friends that rode together before the formation of this team. The team was brought together by their individual passion for cycling. There is an enormous respect between the riders on this team, as they all understand that they can learn and progress from everyone’s experiences. Consequently, this team will continually expand along with the rapidly improving level of cycling talent in the Okanagan.
Over the past year the team has obtained results that show that it's one of the top teams in Canada. Last seasons notable results include national championship Gold (Elite Women - Alison Testeroete) and Provincial Championship Gold (Elite Women - Jessica Hannah, Junior Men - Zach Taylor). Podium spots were obtained at nearly every other race attended, showing the results of the strength, skill, and teamwork that the team possesses.
2010 has seen a huge shift in the team with the roster for both the men’s and women’s team showing a lot of new riders. Each new rider has been chosen for their individual strength and skill, along with team orientated motivation, and will contribute to the ongoing success of the team.
There has also been a boost to the team management, with Cory Forrest overseeing all team projects, and directing the Men’s Elite Team. Added to the management team is Marni Hambleton, who will be overseeing the Women’s Elite Team. Many new sponsors have stepped forward and joined the team, including new product sponsors and financial sponsors to support the team’s program.
