The team had undergone some new changes for the 2010 season. This includes the strengthened team roster, new team equipment, and a pumped up race schedule. With these changes, you can expect to hear great news throughout the season as the team races across BC, Canada, and US.

National Track Team training camp

Cyrus wins Kelowna Lopet

Cyrus showed his xc skiing strength to win the Kelowna Loppet, and now leads the Okanagan Loppet Series. Cyrus uses cross country skiing as his main cross training activity over the winter, with it being one of the most physically demanding sports. Cyrus grew up ski racing at national team level before he switched his focus to road cycling.

Beijing Track Cycling World Cup Bronze

Laura Brown attended the final World Cup of the season and won a bronze medal in the Team Pursuit. The womens team set a new canadian record of 3:26.72 in the final. Laura now has 2 world cup medals, and is preparing for the Track World Championships at the end of March.

Cali Track Cycling World Cup Gold

Laura Brown finished the World Cup off with a Gold Medal in the Team Pursuit! The 3 women team had the fastest time in the qualifiers and won the final against USA. Tim Sherstobitoff was part of the Mens Team Pursuit, placing 10th and setting a new Canadian record.

Cycling BC Awards Night
Alison Testroete recieved the Road Female Cyclist of the Year Award, recognizing her fantastic year winning the National Road Championships, Yaletown grandprix, K-Town Classic, and numerous other events. Evan Guthrie recieved the Cross Country Male Cyclist of the Year Award, recognizing his National and World Cup wins, and silver medal in the Relay at the Cross Country World Championships.
